What if my cat ignores it?
Most cats need a few days. Put it right next to their favorite scratch spot (yes, next to your sofa), rub a silvervine stick or a little catnip on the cardboard, and drag a toy across it. Give it 3 days. Still not a fan? Unused couches can be returned within 30 days of delivery. See our return policy.
Does it shed cardboard?
A little, especially in the first week. That's what scratching cardboard does, and it's a lot easier to vacuum than to reupholster a sofa.
How long does it last?
It depends on your cat. Nappers and gentle scratchers keep it looking good for a long time; heavy scratchers wear the seat down faster. Cardboard scratchers are made to be used up, so a well-loved couch means it's doing its job.
Is it big enough for my cat?
It's 26" long, 11.8" wide and 7.9" high (66 × 30 × 20 cm). There's room for most big cats to stretch out, and two cats can share it if they're on speaking terms.
Does it need assembly?
It arrives flat and goes together in a few minutes. The tool and instructions are in the box.
How long is shipping?
Shipping is free anywhere in the US. Orders usually arrive in 5–8 business days, and you'll get a tracking link by email.
Why did my order arrive in 2 packages?
The couch and the silvervine sticks ship from different warehouses. The sticks usually arrive first and the couch follows a few days later. Nothing is missing, it's just on its way.
Do you ship outside the US?
Not yet. We currently ship within the United States only.
